Nede were a race of humans from the continent of Atmora, north of Tamriel on the planet Nirn. The nords descended from these people.

HistoryEdit

Now extinct, the nede once inhabited the cold continent of Atmora, north of Tamriel. They banded togoether in small clans and fought in a huge civil war. Eventually a small group of nedes migrated to Tamriel and settled in the norther areas.

The nordic hero, Ysgramor, leader of a great colonizing fleet to Tamriel, created a runic transcription of the nords' language based on Aldmeri principles. He was the first known and recorded historian of all the humans. Ysgramor's fleet landed at Hsaarik Head at the very northern tip of Skyrim's Broken Cape. They built the legendary city of Saarthal and lived with the falmer in peace until the falmer began to notice the comparatively quick growth of the nedic people's population.

The falmer drove the nedes out of Saarthal during the Night of Tears, but Ysgramor returned soon with five hudnred companions. These Five Hundred Companions settled and those who stayed in Skyrim became the nords, with those going west breeding with elves were known called breton and the people who headed to the south were called imperial.

The nord remnants attacked elven settlements along the coast from Atmora to Skyrim in the year of 1E68. The remaining two ships from Atmora pulled into a harbor with more than half of their crews deceased. Atmora then became a harsh, freezing wasteland and all who still inhabited their passed away.
